Oak is by far the most popular wood smoke flavour and one of the most versatile. Its rich, rounded flavour is quite strong but it works well with any meats, game, chicken and fish, particularly salmon.  It can overpower more delicate flavours, but if you like things smoky, oak is a great choice.

Suitable for cold smoking, our oak dust is a consistently fine particle dust. This dust size is perfect for use with mesh cold smoke generators along with a wide range of other cold smoking techniques.
