Cherry Wood Dust

Our cherry wood dust is a milder fruitwood flavour than apple, but robust enough to flavour cured meats, game and fish as well as cold smoked cheeses, oils, salt, garlic and chillies. The wood is a rich amber colour made up of fine particles and larger rice size wood flakes.
The consistency of cherry usually works well with the ProQ Cold Smoke Generator and other slow smoulder cold smokers, however, as this is a natural product, batches can vary, so be prepared to blend with a lighter flavour such as Beech to promote even smouldering. It is suitable for stainless steel tray style smokers such as the Camerons.
Pack size is approximately 500g giving you 50 hours of cold smoking in a ProQ generator. Packaged in sealed cellophane bags. Reseal bags after use, store in a cool dry place and your wood dust will deliver great results for up to 2 years.
