Juniper Wood Chips

A highly aromatic wood smoke flavour, these Juniper chips are a combination of chips, twigs and needle-like leaves producing a medium to heavy, balsamic fresh smoking flavour. Pair with all meats, game, vegetables and, fattier meats such as pork in particular.
A member of the cypress family, the juniper is an evergreen, coniferous tree known for its purifying effect. The bark and berries have a high oil content and it will produce a dense smoke flavour with a balsamic woody fresh scent. The chips are a mixture of bark, wood and needle-like leaves.
The chips are an irregular 3 to 5mm size ideal for use in a regular BBQ, smoker or any grill with a lid and ventilation. Add to white hot coals or protect in a smoker box. As they heat up their aromatic flavours are released infusing lovely smoky flavours into your food.
Pack size is approximately 500g giving you enough smoking chips for around 3 to 4 smoking projects. Packaged in sealed cellophane bags. Reseal bags after use, store in a cool dry place and your wood chips will be great for smoking for up to 2 years.
