Applewood is a favourite for food smoking, slightly stronger than other fruitwoods but with a rich, mellow and slightly sweetish flavour. It’s a great partner to pork and chicken in particular, but it also works well with a wide range of food types including meats, fish and vegetables.

Suitable for most hot smokers, these chips are 6 to 10mm in size and packaged in heavy duty plastic bags. Reseal loosely after use and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
