This Douglas Fir Wood Dust is ideal for use in a wide range of cold smoking projects and is also the ideal wood texture for stainless steel hot smokers. It is particularly useful when used as a mixer with other wood dust flavours to add feathery bulk and also to introduce colour. The dust is packed by weight and is available in bags of 500g (£4.50) and 1kg (£8.50). Larger bulk quantities are also available. See separate entry. The dust is packaged in heavy duty lined kraft bags and closed with natural jute twine - which is resealable. All woods for smoking are sourced from managed estates or sustainable sources and the wood is completely natural and untreated.
