All our woods are 100% natural hardwoods or fruitwoods, sustainably sourced from managed estates both here in the Uk and around the world. Choose a strong wood flavour for richer flavoured foods and opt for a milder wood for more delicate flavours.

  1. Maple Wood Chips

    mild to medium hardwood with a slight sweetness, maple produces a lovely mellow smoke flavour which works well with pork and poultry and is also excellent with more delicate fish flavours such as trout.

    p>Manuka brings the rich, mellow flavours of New Zealand to your smoker or barbecue. These mini chips sized between 4 and 8mm are ideal for a range of hot smoking projects. The wood has a dense grain and will produce a complex smoke flavour which will work with a wide range of food types.

    he strong, rich and rounded flavour of oak blended and tumbled with a Cabernet wine to give you a double flavour hit for your hot smoking projects. Supplied in 500g cellophane bags with a twine tie.

    herry is a lighter fruitwood flavour than apple. It has an aromatic, but not overpowering smoke flavour which works well with lamb, gamebirds, poultry and fish, so is highly versatile. Choose from 500g or 1kg pack weights.

    eech is one of our favourite wood smoking flavours. It is a light, mild hardwood with a slightly nutty flavour and a subtle companion to more delicate flavoured foods including poultry and fish. Its a great alternative to oak for salmon. Choose from 500g or 1kg pack weights.
