We buy all our woods in bulk from sustainable 100% natural sources and package them by weight in a sizes from 500g to 20kg catering for the needs of the home smoker to bulk catering use.

  1. Chestnut Wood Chips

    ur cherry wood dust is a rich amber colour made up of fine particles and larger rice size wood pieces. Cherry is a milder fruitwood flavour than apple, but robust enough for use with lamb and gamebirds as well as poultry and fish. Choose from 500g and 1kg pack weights.
  4. Douglas Fir Wood Dust

    ouglas Fir is an interesting addition to a wood dust flavour collection. It is incredibly light and fluffy and produces a highly aromatic pine scent. It is best used as a mixer with other flavours to increase bulk and to add colour as well as extra flavour highlights to the cold smoking process. Choose from 500g and 1kg pack weights.

    his hickory wood dust has darker colour tones and is a heavy dense wood product combining dust and larger particles. Hickory produces a wonderful mellow but strong smoke flavour and is a favourite for charcuterie, red meats and oil fish. Choose from 500g and 1kg pack weights.

    his maple wood dust is a wonderfully fine consistency with a pale colour. It is a dense, heavy wood dust which produces a mellow mid-range flavour strength with a slight sweetness which works particularly well with charcuterie and bacon, but is also a great partner to any cold smoke fish.     his mesquite wood dust is a heavy mix of dust and larger particles in a range of colours from deep brown to amber. Mesquite creates a robust wood smoke flavour with spicy overtones. It is widely used to complement the tastes of the Deep South and is the perfect partner to red meats and other strong food flavours. Choose from 500g and 1kg pack weights.

    ur pure oak wood dust is a favourite of the cold smoker. It is a deep dark colour and a consistently fine particle dust. Oak produces a heavy strong smoke flavour which works well with most full flavoured foods including beef, lamb and venison. Great with cold smoked salami or chorizo and a favourite with salmon. It works very well with pork including classic pulled pork and bacon, but because it is robust without bitterness it will also work with other strong flavoured foods such as mackerel, beef and try too with nuts and garlic.
