It works with most foods where a heavy smoke flavour is required, so ideal for red meats, game and fish. It can overpower more delicate flavours, but if you like things smokey, this is the one!     oth sweet and intense, chestnut is a stronger alternative to fruitwoods. It works well with red meats and game and is a natural partner to turkey. Choose from 500g or 1kg pack weights.
  3. Almond Wood Chips

    ourced from the Valencia region of Spain, these chips produce a buttery, nutty aroma with a clear hint of almond. Try with pork and seafood. 300g weight, packaged in clear cellophane packs.
  4. Maple Wood Chips

    mild to medium hardwood with a slight sweetness, maple produces a lovely mellow smoke flavour which works well with pork and poultry and is also excellent with more delicate fish flavours such as trout.
