Just stuff the base with scrunched up newspaper, fill the interior with charcoal, light the newspaper and the perforated conical shape funnels the flames up into the charcoal which lights with ease. There's no need to use chemical firelighter products. The Charcoal Chimney Starter is ideal for topping up your smoker during longer smoking sessions with charcoal which is already at the required stage of burning and can be easily tipped into the charcoal tray. This creates the minimum of heat interruption in your smoking session. Holds approximately 5lb of charcoal and constructed in an anodised steel with a hand guard and wooden handle.
