This whisky oak dust is provides a double smoke flavour hit of robust, rich oak and highly aromatic whisky. This is the perfect smoke match for meats, fish and cheeses. Created by tumbling and blending oak dust in blended whisky, the dust is a deep brown colour and a consistently fine particle dust.
The dust size is between 1 and 2mm, so a perfect size for reliable smouldering in the ProQ Cold Smoke Generator and other slow smoulder cold smokers which can be used in a regular BBQ or any ventilated smoking compartment. It is also suitable for stainless steel tray style smokers such as the Camerons.
Pack size is approximately 500g giving you 50 hours of cold smoking in a ProQ generator. Packaged in sealed cellophane bags. Reseal bags after use, store in a cool dry place and your wood dust will deliver great results for up to 2 years.
