The dust is packed simply in heavy duty plastic bags with label and twine closure. All our Hot Smoked wood products are FSC approved or from sustainable sources including managed estates. The wood is completely natural virgin timber from a non waste source, it is kiln dried to replicate the seasoning process and ground to a size ranging from 1 to 2mm. As this is a natural product, batches and wood chips size can vary. Our Oak dust has a regular consistency of small particles. It is rich and dark in colour (though the colour can vary from batch to batch).
